Everyone who has been a good little boy or girl this year, or even if you haven’t, take notice – Santa Claus arrives Thursday afternoon at Charleston Town Center.
At 5:45 p.m., Santa’s elves will distribute 200 yellow hard hats to children in Center Court, according to a news release from the mall. Graycor’s renovation foreman, Zach Frick, will engage the children to help him officially start the new fountain in Center Court.
Mall officials say a parade then will follow to Macy’s Court, where Bob the Builder will perform a 20-minute stage show prior to Santa’s arrival on the Macy’s Court stage. Children will be invited to sing along with Santa in the Frosty Forest for Charleston’s first indoor snowfall of the season.
Santa will visit with children daily at the Frosty Forest through Christmas Eve. Professional photos will be available for purchase, but not required to visit with Santa.
