In South Charleston, one person is sent to the hospital after a tank of diesel fell out of the bed of a pickup truck and on to the road. And we have been told that diesel tank was allegedly stolen from Yeager Airport.
South Charleston Police and Fire Department units responded to the accident on Rt. 119 north.
Police say the tank fell out of the red and grey Ford pickup truck and into the road. The white sedan then hit the tank causing it to crash into the guard rail.
At first, the driver of the truck stopped, but then fled towards Lincoln County.
Cars on Rt. 119 were being re-routed as crews clean up the spilled diesel.
