The Red Cross has received some help in the wake of Superstorm Sandy that swept across the East Coast last week.
Cabot Oil and Gas Operations donated $5,000 to the American Red Cross. The money will be used to help with all storm relief efforts including Hurricane Sandy and the derecho from over the summer.
The American Red Cross sets up shelters to house those displaced by storms and provide food, water and other necessities. Workers say they couldn’t believe the damage left by Hurricane Sandy. Of every dollar donated to the Red Cross, 91 cents goes to help those in need.
