It was a cold morning for kids at Pratt Elementary in Kanawha County.
The heat at the school stop working, and a technician was called out. After a few cold hours, the problem with the boiler was filled.
The problems experienced at Pratt are the type of issues that other Kanawha County schools have faced. Last spring, voters approved a $20 million levy. Terri Hollingsworth, the head of Kanawha County Schools maintenance department, said the money will be used to fix and repair all old heating and cooling equipment at county schools.
