Sunday was Veterans Appreciation Day in Putnam County.
Hundreds packed the Putnam County Courthouse square for the event.
The event featured live music by the Winfield Generals Band, recognition of veterans present, and ceremonies featuring the American Legion, VFW, and Marine Corps league.
Organizers say it allowed the community to say “thank you” to service men and women.
