The brother of one of the victims of the 1970 Marshall plane crash will speak at this year's memorial.
Mo Lajterman and his family have attended many of the annual memorials for his brother -- Marcelo Lajterman -- and the other 74 victims. This year, he'll be a featured speaker.
The service will be held at noon on Wednesday.
Nineteen-year-old Marcelo Lajterman was a kicker for the Thundering Herd when the team's plane crashed on Nov. 14, 1970.
The team was returning from a football game at East Carolina University when the plane clipped some treetops short of the airport and went down.
Victims included 36 football players, nine coaches and administrators, 25 fans and a crew of five.
Lajterman's family started the Marcelo Lajterman Memorial Scholarship in his honor.
