One person died in a car accident in Portsmouth, Ohio Saturday evening.
The accident happened on State Route 73, south of State Route 104, around 6:30pm.
Police say the driver of a Kia Spectra crossed the center line, hit a Ford Expedition head-on and then ran into a guardrail.
Casey Newman, who was a passenger in the Kia Spectra, died at a hospital.
The driver of the Kia Spectra and the driver of the Ford Expedition were taken to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
