You can be scared at Halloween and still be healthy.
Dozens of school children had an opportunity to explore a different kind of haunted house in Malden Thursday. The Malden Wellness Center was transformed into a Healthy Haunted House. The educational house taught children the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and also how to encourage their parents.
The students from Malden Elementary School toured four rooms. The first room showcased the dangers of bullying; the second room was transformed into a zombie room filled with junk food such as soda, chips, wine and a television. The third room was the healthy room filled with tennis rackets, jump ropes and other outdoor activities.The last room was filled with healthy food like fruit and vegetables.
