People at the Mountain Mission in Charleston are already in the Christmas spirit.
Volunteers have been busy at the mission preparing thousands of decorations, lights, trees and classic knickknacks for this weekend's sale. Decorations were donated where some items that were usually priced at $5 or $10 were marked down to 25 cents.
People were flocking to the sale on Thursday morning to get the best stuff for their holiday season.
But the best part about the sale is that all proceeds will support the mission's Christmas basket program. Organizers say it's all about giving this holiday season.
"Come the week before Christmas when we're handing out the baskets, that's when it all comes together and that's when you know it's complete -- when you see the smiles on their faces," said volunteer, Jeanell Muncy.
The sale runs Thursday and Friday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m.-noon.
