The medical license of a Roane County pastor and doctor arrested in two separate incidents has been suspended.
The state Board of Medicine suspended Dr. Kenneth Seen’s license. State Police arrested Seen last week for allegedly sticking his tongue in the mouth of an elderly male dementia patient with Parkinson’s disease while caring for him at Roane General Hospital.
Seen also was arrested for allegedly beating up a 14-year-old boy at his church. Seen is charged with battery and child abuse creating risk of injury. His license will remain suspended until a hearing set to take place later this month.
A Roane County doctor and pastor is arrested amid allegations in two separate incidents.
The first happened this past September when state police say 51 year old Dr. Kenneth Seen stuck his tongue in the mouth of a 77 year old Parkinsons's and dementia patient recovering from hip surgery.
We're told the patient then bit part of Seen's tongue off.
The alleged victim's daughter, Yvonne Wright says her father lost his will to live following this incident and died just this past Friday.
State police believe this incident was sexual in nature, but could only charge seen with battery because there are no guidelines for this type of incident.
Seen is also charged with child abuse creating risk of injury following another incident where he allegedly beat up a 14 year old boy at his church.
We're told Seen is not employed at the hospital anymore, but does operate a small local practice in town and is still pastor at the church.
There is also a criminal history in Seen's family. Both of his sons are serving time for having child pornography.
We'll keep you updated on this developing story.
