For PETA, the only permissible skin to show is human.
Partially clad members of the organization participated in a protest that took place about noon Wednesday alongside Clendenin Street in Charleston.
Two PETA members stood in the frame of makeshift coffins, decorated with flowers, and held signs that read, "We wouldn't be caught dead in animal skins."
Along with the two women in coffins, additional protesters held signs as part of the demonstration.
