If you plan to fly out of Yeager Airport on Monday, check your flight status before you leave the house. Airlines have canceled 19 flights heading in and out of Charleston's Yeager Airport on Monday due to the pending storm.
All United Airlines flights out of Yeager Airport are canceled Monday. Several US Airways flights to Washington National have also been canceled, as well as American Airlines flights to LaGuardia Airport in New York City. There have not been any changes with Delta flights yet.
"What happens is when there are so many cancellations, passengers from those flights are getting rebooked on other airlines that have seats here," Airport spokesman Brian Belcher said. "And those seats go really fast because those other airlines already had passengers."
