Charleston police arrested the owner of a West Side pawn shop, where they said they found stolen jewelry, laptops and other items.
Kyle Thompson, 32, the owner of Cash For Gold at 1305 Washington St. W., was charged Friday afternoon with 32 counts of false reporting, city police said.
Police said the arrest comes after a yearlong investigation of the pawn shop. Thompson is originally from Beckley.

Charleston police were serving arrest and search warrants Friday afternoon at Cash For Gold.
The business is located at 1305 Washington St. W.
Police said the warrants are being served as part of an ongoing investigation. No more details were available.
