Eyewitness News has learned the name of the woman killed in a crash on the Silver Bridge in Point Pleasant Wednesday afternoon.
Ashley Morris, 21, of Mason was driving in the northbound lanes when she collided with two tractor-trailers, Mason County deputies said. Morris was pronounced dead at the scene. Morris' fiance and her mother were passengers in that car, but were not injured, according to a release from the Mason County Sheriff's Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
One person died after an accident on the Silver Memorial Bridge in Point Pleasant.
The accident reportedly involved two tractor trailers and one vehicle. It happened near the center of the bridge in the northbound lanes Wednesday afternoon.
Traffic was backed up for nearly two hours while crews cleared the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
