Two people died in a house fire in McDowell County.
The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office said the blaze occurred about 6 p.m. Monday in Newhall.
The Berwind and War volunteer fire departments, the McDowell County Sheriff’s Department and the McDowell County Ambulance Authority responded to the scene.
The fire was fully involved when emergency personnel arrived.
