Dozens of people got the chance to see rare rocks, gems, and jewelry over the weekend. The Rock and Gem Show was held at the South Charleston Community Center. The goal of the show is to raise funds for the Lions Club.
Spectators poured over minerals, crystals, and jewelry. The show attracts dealers from across the nation.
"We're trying to get the next generation of people to be interested in rocks, and minerals and gems and that sort of thing," said James Hird with the Kanawha Rock and Gem Club.
The rock and gem show has been an annual event for 37 years.
