More than 160 AmeriCorps members are sending a little piece of home to our troops overseas.
It was all a part of the service project called “Operation Remembrance.” The AmeriCorps members stuffed and assembled nearly 1,000 care packages Friday for the deployed troops. The efforts to help the troops took place at the Holiday Inn in South Charleston.
