One man is on a mission to raise money for a good cause.
Andy Magnusson is a pastor at Baptist Temple in Huntington. He has been training for the half-marathon in the Healthy Huntington Race to raise money for different missionaries.
So far, the marathon minister has raised nearly $5,000 in money and pledges. He believes that all the training and hard work is well worth the reward. He also said he has plenty of support.
"I've found that when people know the money is going toward a specific project that's needed, they give generously. I've had several large donations," Magnusson said.
The Healthy Huntington marathon will take place Nov. 11.
