A Kanawha County man accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl is headed to jail.
Justin Hamrick of Sissonville is accused of molesting the young child of a woman who allowed him to stay in her trailer at the Pine Valley Trailer Park. The defense wanted him to be sent to a youthful offender program, but Kanawha Circuit Judge Duke Bloom on Wednesday sentenced to Hamrick to no less than 11 and no more than 30 years in prison.
Hamrick also will be required to register as a sex offender.
