FATAL ACCIDENT Pickup And Semi Crash Killing Boone County Man

Deputies are investigating a fatal accident in Boone County.
The accident happened on Route 3 on Drawdy Mountain around 11pm Monday.
Deputies say 53-year-old Daniel Chafin, of Ridgeview, died when his pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a semi.
Chafin died on the scene.
Deputies are trying to determine what caused Chafin to lose control of his truck. They don't believe drugs or alcohol played a role in crash at this time.
