A Putnam County woman is accused of attacking and robbing her friend in Winfield.
Winfield police said 30-year-old Rebecca Gibson became angry Monday morning when the victim refused to loan her money. That's when officers say Gibson repeatedly kicked and punched the woman, and then took off with her cellphone and $167.
The victim went to police and reported the robbery and Gibson was arrested.
Gibson is charged with battery, armed robbery and destruction of property.
Gibson posted bond and was released from the Western Regional Jail.
