Police arrested a man who they say broke into several cars and stole items.
Jeffrey D. Thacker, 31, of South Shore, was arrested on Sunday. Police charged Thacker with four counts of theft after they say he broke into several cars at a Lowe's parking lot in Wheelersburg, according to a news release from the Scioto County Sheriff's Department.
Many victims stated that they had went in the store to make a purchase and returned to find that their car had been broken into and several items were missing, the release said.
