A man arrested last month for his alleged role in a shooting outside of a Charleston bar has been sentenced on unrelated charges.
Braheem Griffin appeared before Kanawha County Circuit Judge Jennifer Bailey on Tuesday.
Griffin was out on bond in September on felony drug charges, when he was arrested in connection with a shooting that happened outside Sky Lounge on Capitol Street in late September. Police arrested Griffin outside of a West Side restaurant later that week.
On Tuesday, Bailey sentenced Griffin to one to five years for felony charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. The case continues in Griffin's alleged involvement in the shooting.
