Charleston Salvation Army To Offer Emergency Cold Weather Shelter

The Salvation Army in Charleston will offer an emergency cold weather shelter for the community.

City officials will notify the Salvation Army when to open the emergency shelter when the weather dips low, according to a news release from Capt. Aaron Goldfarb, area commander with the Salvation Army. Men, women and children will have access to a warm bed and food provided by the Salvation Army Charleston Area Command.

The Salvation Army is located at 301 Tennessee Ave. in Charleston.
