BODY FOUND Sheriff's Department Says No Foul Play Suspected In Woman's Death

A person found dead Monday outside of South Charleston apparently died of natural causes, authorities said.
The body was found on Myrtle Tree Road about 8 a.m., according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. The woman, possibly in her 50s, appeared to be camping in the area.
Deputies do not suspect foul play. The release said the woman was burning charcoal for heat in an enclosed structure. Final determination on a cause of death will be left to the state medical examiner, the release said.
A woman's body has been found in South Charleston, a 911 dispatcher said.
The body was found about 8 a.m. on Myrtle Tree Road. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Further details were unavailable.
