The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office has identified the man whose body was found along a Kanawha County road early Friday.
The body of Joseph Clay Huffman, 19, of Elkview was discovered beside a guardrail near the intersection of North Pinch and New Hope roads, the sheriff's department said. The state Medical Examiner's Office responded to the scene, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
Detectives are speaking with family and friends and awaiting autopsy results.

Eyewitness News has learned the body of an adult male was found along a Kanawha County road early Friday.
The body was discovered beside a guardrail near the intersection of North Pinch and New Hope roads in Pinch, said Captain Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. Crosier added that there are no obvious signs of trauma to the individual.
