St. Albans police officers are showing off a new tool to help prepare them for the streets.
The i-Marksman was displayed at the city's neighborhood watch meeting Thursday evening.
The program is a video game that comes with a projector and officers are trained on how to identify people who are a threat. They say programs like this one are necessary to better fight crime in their communities.
"They are telling us about purchasing this equipment, and it simulates shooting. It's how quick they have to think whether or not to pull the trigger," Councilman Desper Lemon said.
The program costs $2,500. It also can use any video downloaded from YouTube.
