The mission to rid Huntington of dozens of dilapidated homes has been completed.
On Tuesday, the West Virginia National Guard and Division of Highways finished tearing down and removing 54 homes in 28 days.
Many of the homes were located in the Fairfield east and west neighborhoods. The vacant lots will now be sold to developers looking to build new homes on those properties.
