A Fayette County woman is in critical condition after a car accident in Mossy Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies say 24-year-old Marysa Smith, of Scarbro, lost control of her minivan on Route 612 and hit an embankment. The impact caused the minivan to flip onto its top.
It took firefighters 30 minutes to cut Smith out of the car. She was then flown to the CAMC General, where she is in critical condition.
Route 612 was closed for an hour while crews cleaned up the wreck.
