Police arrested a Hurricane man who allegedly robbed a man after threatening him with an ax.
Wayne Allen Leadman, 32, was charged with robbery and fleeing after the incident that occurred shortly before midnight Monday in Huntington, according to Cabell County Magistrate Court documents
.
The victim told police the suspect grabbed an ax and threatened to kill him if he didn't give him all his money. Police saw a man fitting the description as he tried to run away, and he was arrested shortly after, the documents said.
Leadman is being held at the Western Regional Jail.
