A new place to check out the game or catch up with friends is opening it's door in downtown Charleston.
The Recovery Sports Grill held a soft opening Monday night. It is located on the Virginia Street side of the Ramada downtown.
It officially opens for business Wednesday at 11 a.m.
Monday night was just the start of something much bigger. The restaurant is part of a complete renovation project that will eventually turn the Ramada into a Four Points By Sheraton.
All 12 floors of the hotel will be redone with condos for sale on the top two floors. The hotel project is expected to be complete by sometime next year.
The new eatery boasts a sports bar atmosphere with a whole lot of sports memorabilia from local athletes. The restaurant can seat about 200 people inside and about 50 to 60 outside.
The whole project is expected to cost around 15 million dollars.
