An Ashland, Ky., man was jailed after deputies said they caught him in an alleged drug deal.
Terry L. Reed, 47, is charged with trafficking a controlled substance.
Deputies said they responded to a tip of a drug deal at the Jane Hill Chevron station in Westwood on Thursday. They say that's where Reed had Adipex and other medication. Deputies said Reed ate several of the pills before deputies could get them away from him. The person who allegedly purchased the pills from Reed also is cooperating, deputies said.
