The Kentucky State Police are investigating two separate ATV accidents in Pike County, Ky., that claimed the lives of two people on Thursday.
Troopers responded to an ATV accident on KY 195, Marrowbone Creek Road, in the Elkhorn City community, a news release from the Kentucky State Police said. Matthew Wallace, 41, died when his ATV left the roadway and hit a tree.
Troopers also responded to an ATV accident on Bent Branch Road in the Meta community, a news release from the State Police said. Clay Maynard, 40, of Kimper died when his ATV left the road and crashed into a creek.
Both accidents are still under investigation by State Police.
