A few folks had the chance to meet with some of those on the November ballots.
The South Charleston Chamber of Commerce and the Woman's Club of South Charleston hosted a Supreme Court candidates forum Tuesday evening.
Tish Chafin, Allen Loughry, and John Yoder were at the free event. It was open to the public so the candidates and public were able to have an opportunity to visit with one another.
Executive director of South Charleston Chamber of Commerce, Amanda Ream, hopes the event educated those who attended.
Ream hopes it was an opportunity to see the candidates in a different light, meet and greet, and also get to ask some questions.
The Women's Club will also hold a similar forum for the 35th House Delegates October 23.
