The Pike County Sheriff's Department arrested a man in connection with a burglary of a store in which several guns and electronics were taken, according to a news release from the Pike County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies arrested Barry McClannahan, of Phelps, Ky., and charged him with burglary and criminal mischief on Tuesday.
The burglary happened at the Phelps One Stop early on Monday. The owner of the store noticed a glass door broken and several guns, electronics, cartons of cigarettes, jewelry, and other merchandise were missing, the news release said.
During a separate arrest, deputies received some information that might lead them to the suspect, according to the release. Deputies located the address of one suspect and found the stolen items at the residence, the release said.
He is lodged in the Pike County Jail and Detention Center.
