With lots of red tape and hoops to jump through, the college application process can be stressful.
There is an effort across West Virginia this week to make the process a little smoother.
More than 70 middle and high schools, colleges and universities in West Virginia are hosting events and activities designed to help students and families in exploring and applying to higher education programs. Many of the events will include college application labs and workshops and panel discussion with current college students.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has proclaimed the week College Application and Exploration week.
