Scioto County sheriff's deputies arrested a man who they said is connected to a string of burglaries in Porter Township and Vernon Township in September.
Police arrested Zachary K. Hightower, 27, of Wheelersburg and charged him with four counts of burglary, according to a news release from the Scioto County Sheriff's Office.
On Friday, sheriff’s detectives were trying to retrieve a stolen dirt bike in Elliot Hill when they noticed the suspect's car in the driveway, the news release said. Deputies and detectives found the suspect hidden in the bathroom of the house and brought him to the Scioto County Sheriff's Office for questioning.
Hightower is being held on a $40,000 bond at the Scioto County Jail.
