Police have arrested the son of a missing couple from Johnson County, Ky.
Police arrested William Blanton, 29, the Johnson County Sheriff's Department said. Police said Blanton was allegedly trying to get a prescription that was in another person's name at a pharmacy. He is charged with attempting to obtain a controlled substance without a practitioner relationship.
The sheriff's department said Blanton is a person of interest in his parents’ case because he was the last to have contact with them before they went missing. The couple went missing Sept. 5.
Police say they fear the worst for a Kentucky couple who has been missing for nearly a month.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department searched the 50-acre farm of Larry and Sandra Blanton Sunday.
The search so far has not turned up any clues.
