A family dispute continued Friday in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Talton Pratt, the brother of Starlena Pratt, the woman who died after her boyfriend allegedly set her on fire, was arrested earlier this year.
On Friday, he was in court and pleaded not guilty to malicious wounding and battery.
He is accused of attacking his mother, Marcia Chandler, inside the waiting room at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He allegedly threw a bottle at her face and started to beat her.
On a side note, when Talton Pratt’s sister, Starlena died, Talton said he and his family were starting a crusade against domestic violence.
