Residents received free health screenings Friday at the University of Charleston.
The screenings were held to check cholesterol and blood pressure.
Each month, the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy, in conjunction with Walmart, provides a health screening event and education session on a particular health topic.
In October, influenza/pneumococcal vaccines will be offered. The price, dates and time will be announced closer to the event.
