Police said they arrested two people after nearly 300 oxycodone pills were found during a raid of a hotel in South Point, Ohio.
Emmanuel Javon Anderson, 33, of Huntington, and Heather Ratcliff, 29, of South Point were arrested during the raid that occurred Thursday evening at the Southern Hills Hotel, according to a news release from the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force.
The task force raided a hotel in South Point and seized $1,651 in cash and 295 oxycodone pills, which has a street value of $8,850, the release said.
Anderson is charged with two counts of drug trafficking and aggravated possession of drugs. Ratliff is charged with four counts of drug trafficking.
Officers with the Ironton Police, South Point Police and Lawrence County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
