Power has been restored in the Marmet area of Kanawha County.
A bad transformer caused the outage that left about 50 people in that area in the dark about 7 a.m., according to Phil Moye with AEP.
Power was completely restored about 11:30 a.m. Friday.
A power outage has left about dozens of residents in eastern Kanawha County in the dark Friday morning.
Power has been knocked out along 85th Street in Marmet, according to officials with American Electric Power. About 50 customers are currently experiencing an outage.
There is no estimated restoration time as of now. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for updates.
