The firefighter was responding to a report of a house fire along Woodrow Hendricks Drive, according to a news release from Chief David Hodges with the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department. The name of the injured firefighter has not been released, but the firefighter was flown to Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston with serious injuries. "This is a very serious situation, and I would ask that everyone keep this firefighter in their thoughts and prayers," Hodges said. There is no word on what caused the 2,200-gallon tanker to roll.
