West Virginia State Police have released the name of the pedestrian who was struck and killed in Lincoln County Monday night.
Jennings Ferguson, 48, of Branchland was the person killed in the accident, State Police said. Lincoln County dispatchers said the man was struck on the McClellan Highway section of W.Va. 10 in Ranger at about 9:30 p.m.
The name of the driver who struck the pedestrian was not available.
A person is dead after they were hit by a car in Lincoln County.
The accident happened between the Midkiff and Ranger areas Monday evening.
The name of the victim has not been released, and no word if the driver will face charges.
