People in Huntington spent Sunday afternoon trying to strike out drugs. "Bowl for Recovery" held its inaugural event at Colonial Lanes.
Money raised at the event will go toward the Lifehouse, a center that helps men overcome alcoholism and drug abuse.
One lucky person also won a trip to Hawaii through a raffle ticket drawing at the benefit.
Organizer Rocky Meadows said it's important to reach out to these men and show them their lives can be better.
