The man accused of sexually abusing and murdering 2-year-old Logan Goodall is appealing his conviction.
Michael Merrifield filed his appeal, which consists of several hundred pages, Friday morning in Putnam Circuit Court. He wrote the appeal himself. In his appeal, he cites corrupted evidence and claimed he did not have proper counsel.
Merrifield was convicted and sentenced back in 2008.
