A third arrest has been made in the death of a Parkersburg woman. Crystal Dawn Smith was arrested. Police say she conspired with two men to move Brandy Marie Adams' body -- it was found in the trunk of a car at a car wash last week. Adams had apparently died in a trailer. Toxicology reports are not finished, but police say illegal drugs contributed to her death. Two people have been arrested for allegedly moving the body of a Parkersburg woman who was found dead inside the trunk of her car. The body of Brandy Marie Adams was found in the trunk of her car at the Seventh Street Car Wash shortly before 8pm Thursday night. Police have arrested Arthur Allen Thorton and Victor Lee Thompson. Police say the two men moved Adams' body from the Meadowview Trailer Park, where she died, to the car wash. Both Thorton and Thompson have been charged with felony concealing a deceased human body and felony conspiracy to conceal a deceased human body. Parkersburg police have released the identity of a woman whose body was found Thursday in the trunk of a car by an officer. The body of Brandy Marie Adams, 25, of Parkersburg was discovered about 8 p.m. in a vehicle parked inside a car wash bay at the Seventh Street Car Wash on Seventh Street, according to a news release from the Parkersburg Police Department. Numerous officers with the Parkersburg Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Office and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force are working on the investigation. The Wood County Prosecutor’s Office also is assisting with the case. The body is being sent to Charleston for an autopsy. MORE NEWS FROM EYEWITNESS NEWS
