Kentucky State Police Post 9 is investigating an accident in which a vehicle hit a police cruiser and sent two officers and the driver of a truck to the hospital.
On Thursday, a Pikeville City Police cruiser was headed to a complaint on U.S. 23 at the intersection of U.S. 119. The police cruiser had its emergency lights and siren on when a truck hit the passenger side, according to a news release from the Kentucky State Police.
The two officers and the driver of the truck were sent to the Pikeville Medical Center for minor injuries.
