A group of volunteers is helping children see better in Cabell County.
About 75 volunteers with Alcon gave free vision screenings to students at Cox Landing Elementary in Cabell County.
It's part of the "Kids Vision for Life" program. Any child found to have a vision problem was given a pair of glasses at no cost. The group also held screenings at Guyandotte Elementary.
"We give back to our communities and what's better than helping young people be able to see and experience life through their own eyes," Alcon Human Resources Manager Brian Gum said.
The program has provided 25,000 pairs of glasses to children in nearly 20 states.
