Walmart made a large monetary donation to help children in the capital city Wednesday.
The company donated $20,000 dollars for Charleston Area Medical Center's Advocacy Center at Women and Children's Hospital.
The center provides a safe, child-friendly place for kids who have been victims of alleged sexual or physical abuse or neglect.
Maureen Runyon, Coordinator with the Child Advocacy Center says this donation represents the company's commitment to our children.
